Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to make: print the words, paste them onto blocks of wood and use a scroll saw to cut around them ;). But again, I'm not a carpenter so who can say how easy it is 8-).

that is the easy part.

all of the words were drawn so they were the same shape as a normal piece
it was done very nice.

Cool idea too. I always imagined making a deck of cards where each said on it in accordingly red or black words "ace of hearts" or "king of spades" instead of pips or pictures, just to be artistic and abstract :).
